Orders are dispatched Monday - Thursday via APC overnight courier. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Mainland, Borders and offshore may take 2-3 days to be delivered.

We were both delighted and honoured that Waitrose chose to feature Sussex Charmer so strongly in their amazing Christmas TV advert with Kiera Knightley and Joe Wilkinson. It was the cheese that they feel in love with over the Waitrose Deli counter.

Combining the creaminess of a mature farmhouse cheddar with the zing of an Italian Style Hard Cheese, this versatile cheese is a stunning addition to the cheese board. In 2008, it won Best New Dairy Product at the largest cheese awards in the world, hosted in Nantwich, Cheshire. It has since gone on to win a further 12 Golds at these International Cheese and Dairy Awards and claiming Best Catering Cheese in Show in 2014 and 2023.

In 2017, it was awarded Best British Cheddar at the prestigious Quality Food Awards.

Sussex Charmer has the perfect taste credentials to complement fruit of any description. Its long taste profile in the kitchen soon becomes a chef’s best friend. Endowed with great meltability, it adds a sublimely creamy taste when grated over pasta. Our famous signature dish ‘Charmer on Toast’ has no rivals, as many will vouch!

Storage: Eat within three weeks of opening, wrap in grease-proof paper, place in air tight container in the fridge.

    This is the best cheddar cheese ever tasted, but the problem is with the delivery. Every time we order 2 x 800g x2 and get delivered only 2. Then I have to call for the missing 2 to get delivered, so maybe delivery can be free under £50 after all.

    The cheese arrived quickly as usual, all good there. The Sussex Charmer is lovely as we expect but the Twineham Grange was disappointing. It was nowhere near as flavourful as normal, could almost call it bland. We understand that it can vary but this batch was not up to scratch.

    Both types of cheese good, as usual. Not so sure about the new(ish) eco packaging. Delivery was delayed by 24hrs by couriers. Hence cheese not chilled.

    This cheese is delicious. It is also healthier because it is made from the milk from grazing cows. This means less of the inflammatory Omega 6 and more of the anti-inflammatory Omega 3. The purchase process is straightforward and delivery is reliable.
